Grrr, bad Immigration, bad!

Well, it's partly my fault, cause I dawdled getting ready this morning. I got up to the city at 11am, and found very close motorcycle parking which was nice. Then waited in line. Got near to the head of the line, then they ran out of tickets. As the somewhat scary Russian lady security guard said, 'Come back next week' (but you have to say it in the Russian accent of course), and we're all going 'But But!'

Still, I did get to the bank and did my name change. Which was so trifling easy I can't believe I waited that long. Then I went down to AAA and got a replacement registration and sticker (never got mine). I also popped by the British store and got some aero bars and Kinder Surprise eggs. I then went by our local CB store, and got a new CB for my truck. Plus and antenna and a PA speaker (so I can say rude things to people on the street, natch). I'll figure out where I want to velcro it to, and take my truck over there next Saturday to have them tune the antenna. Whoop!

hey jo! got your message at about one. i called out to spend the day packing and so far i've slept for three hours and dyed my hair. yeesh. i need to get a move on! i'm off to the laundromat from hell, my last trip there ever, yay!
