Pirates, Yar

We did end up going to see Pirates of the Carribean last night. It was great fun. Movie theatre was pretty, but not completely full. We had gotten there pretty early anyway.

Work today, I'm up in the air about it right now. Don't know wether it will be OK or blech.

My sister and her girlfriend will be coming up for the weekend. They'll stay with us Friday night and hang out with us Sat. Then go up to the city Sat night and Sunday to see some friends.
Not sure what we are going to do Sat, maybe go to Santa Cruz to see some friends of Katy's. Might see if the Cyber Rays are playing, and go see a soccer game

If you're going to Santa Cruz, stop at the Saturn Cafe for some of their yummy desserts like Gingerbread or McConnell's ice cream in a sundae or pie. Better yet, go on a Wednesday and bring queen_puff_puff for Wig Out Wednesdays:

I love the Saturn cafe, we always try and eat there. Remind me to tell you about the time my mum and I went there, and Mum's poor bathroom choices!

I assume you're talking about the whole "tyranny of binary genders" manifesto on the bathroom doors at the new location ;). Did your mum choose the wrong door?

I'm glad they kept the menu, but the new ultra shiny too cool for school location kind of bums me out. Mostly because I have such happy memories of the funky old location in a renovated Pizza Hut. Especially when I'd go there while my laundry was washing at the laundromat next door.

But I do love their desserts! I'd highly recommend going there for the Mud Pie. Especially if it were Wig Out Wednesday in the company of queen_puff_puff (maybe wiglets would only be a 10% discount?).

QPP, name the Wednesday and I will brave Bay Area and Highway 17 traffic to attend Wig Out Wednesday with you and the 3 foot beehive! Perhaps we could even haggle with them over the discount being in proportion to the wig's dimensions.
