bargain basement was today, and it was tons of fun! 
I got some nice things, including a cool book for Chris, and one for me called the Atlas of Art!
I got a nice art set, with all different kinds of paints and pastels and stuff. Not fancy paints, but I don't need that. All at a very good level for me to play around with! Got some smallish canvases and art panels too.
Also got a couple of aluminium folding easels that I'm hoping would be something my Aunts in Australia who do watercolors would like. 

I need to watch Project Runway Australia, the newest ep. was posted on Youtube two days ago, and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. 
Have had lots going on after work, so have not made it to the gym this week, altho I did do a walk after work Monday to the ATM. 

Got info in the mail today about my 20yr reunion (which I'm going to), however the Sat night event we aren't supposed to bring spouses to, and I'm kinda like whaaaat? There's a bbq the next day that spouses and kids are welcome at, but I'm really surprised that you wouldn't be able to bring a guest to the evening event. Humph. 
I figure I can borrow the cell phone of whomever cousin we're staying with first, and if things are mellow later on, I'll call Chris and have him come hang with me. Heck, he'll be dropping me off and picking me up! He can just leave late and come back early :)

Finally joined facebook, eh, one more site to figure out. It's not really a blogging place, right?

Ugh, too late, I gots beaucoup to do at work tomorrow.  Still loves it tho! Got more nice feedback from my manager that I'm doing well and everyones happy with how quickly I've picked things up, yay!

yeah, it's weird. I'm still definately going, seeing as I'm flying 15+ hrs to get there and all! But it's made me a little off on it all :(

Just bring Chris anyway and claim you didn't know or RSVP for two people. Tell them he's taking Katie's spot. That's ridiculous! You are flying in from CALIFORNIA for the reunion, for crying out loud.

But you're right, I'm pretty much gonna have him stay late and come back early. Sheesh, the two of us would be drinking as much together as one regular Australian anyway ;)

I'm actually free right now Labour Day weekend, and then not the first weekend of Sept (our scooter rally!) but the next two after that I think are good. We should discuss!!
