joeychen new job is still going well, they're happy I keep showing up, haha. Still an overwhelming amount of info, but I think a few things are sticking.
I may take home some stuff over the long weekend, and see if I can set a few things in a few more firmly without emails, workstuff etc going on.
We had bocce after work again today, but I sucked this week, oh well!
Last weekend was fun, but busy, and I got up early both days, probably not what I needed on the first weekend after first week of work! Sunday was the Pride parade, and I got up at 5:30 to be in the city by 7am (was doing lineup and road captaining). Riding with the Dykes on Bikes was as awesome as always, we had a good turn out for Scooter Girls and we looked super cute all in our veils! The crowd seemed to dig the look and we got lots of cheers. They broadcast the parade at 7pm that night, but started the show 3/4 of the way into the bikes, so they totally missed us, poo.
I think Chris and I are going to take it easy this long weekend and I wanna catch up on some sleeping in! Maybe do some projects around home and garden. Heck knows the place could do with some cleaning!
