I got a job!!!!

joeychenI had a great interview yesterday, and they called this afternoon to let me know that they're going to offer me the job, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought I wasn't going to hear from them till early next week, but they interviewed more people today, and decided not to interview the other person they were gonna on Monday, and just go with me, woohoo!
It's a buyer position, entry level, at a distribution company for artist and craft supplies, how cool is that!!
I've been kinda on the other side of things, as a vendor dealing with buyers, but not ever the pricing stuff. So I'll be learning all that, and the buying. I think it will be a great job and great experience. It's a family owned private company, and a lot of people have been there for a long time, which is nice.
Alas, they would like me to start Monday June 23, so I will be skipping my trip to Seattle, so I'm glad I was able to find out before this weekend rather then after. I will actually have to try and get a dentist visit in next week I suppose, ugh.
But hey, I will also treat myself to a massage at that massage school that is nearby the new job, ooh, I could go to that afterwork everynow and again too, hee!
Now when I take the offer letter in next Mon or Tues, I just need to negotiate re our Australia trip. I figure I can offer that I won't be taking any time off over Thanksgiving and Xmas (well, bar the actual days)
So yes, WOOOO!!
I think Chris and I will go out to dinner tonight :)
