so yesterday i started the painting on Bruce, it went well! I got the first coat on the lower half on the driver's side. I was worried yesterday it wasn't drying, but when I felt it when I got home this afternoon it was all dry!

So, bay area ladies, there may be an artcar decorating party in the near future! ;)

put out over 100 boxes yesterday, and only about 16 left now, woo! It sooooo nice to have them all out of the basement, and now I can actually get to all my artcar materials!

We are starting a knitting group at work, it was today after work, but of course I forgot to bring my knitting. My alarm in the morning is set so that the first thing I head when it goes off is the traffic and weather report. So the first thing I heard about was the fatal hit and run motorcycle accident (fucking cage lurching across the carpool lane and right into the bike, i hope they catch the driver soon) just before the toll plaza on the bay bridge, which is right where I drive every day. :(

the painting is just going to be a background, to gluing stuff on it in a pattern.
So I might have one next weekend, which would be more painting. I'll take the camper shell top off, and put it in the back yard, and we can paint that.
Then maybe another one with gluing stuff on.

oh, how awful about that motorcycle driver! and how scary for you! I read that the police found the car that hit him... it's only a matter of time before they get the driver as well.

It was so nice to see you and Chris, however briefly and far down the table, on Friday! Sorry I didn't manage to meet up on Sunday -- I spent much of the day asleep from my Big Saturday (blog entry coming up soon).

Now that I have so many friends who've moved into the East Bay, I've decided I need to try to get up there more frequently than once a year. I definitely need to see the new house!
