Feb. 21st, 2003 12:37 pmFor being a short week, this week has draaaaaaaaaged on. I'm glad it's Friday. Not uber glad though, I appear to be a little out of sorts and grouchy, but only mildly.
We are having a baby shower for one of our dance troupe mates tomorrow. I'm bringing those little quiches, will make something else, and am bringing a fruit salad. I went to Costco today at lunch to get some fruit salad. They often have these nice trays of cut fruit that you can just toss into a bowl, and hey presto, nice fruit salad. But, they didn't have any, so know I have buttloads of Costco fruit that I will use maybe 1/4 of to make a huge fruit salad with. Still, it can only be good for me to have a lot of fruit around to eat.
Sunday, not sure what's going on. I think Lulu and Wuz arrive on Sunday, but haven't heard what their plans are yet. I will hopefully do more den organising. I want to get one of those hanging sweater shelf things to put in the den closet, to put my fabric on. (The fabric that's overflowing it's current home in my sewing cart). Then I have to figure out how I want to move all the furniture around there.
Sigh, I just got of the phone with my manager (who works out of Austin). It just instantly depresses me to talk to him, it's such an ineffectual working relationship. He just said he's going to have one of my co-workers manage me now. Which is fine by me, much better in fact. He just does it in such a bad, off the cuff way.
I really really want this new job I'm in the running for. It's still will be almost a month before I find out if I make the next cut.
