joeychenhad a good weekend
BBQ birthday party for a friend's 1 year old, then went out to a couple of bars with my newly laid off cousin and his wife (also laid off). It's gonna suck if they have to move back to Aust. All the Aussies I knew well here are moving out of the area :(
Sunday I did a lot of the furniture rearranging in the den that I wanted to do. Now we just have to bring up our new file cabinet, and take down the other bookcase that was part of Mr jo's desk. I have my new crafting empire set up with craft materials all within easy reach of my craft table, and my table within view of the telly. Yes, that's kinda lame, but what I can say, I like to watch a lot of the idiot box. It should soon have enough room in there for the aerobed, for when we have guests.
Right now Mr jo and I are over at our friend's place babysitting their 3 year old Celeste. She's sleeping now, although we had a few crocodile tears when we announced it was bedtime. She's a sweetie, although can be pretty sassy sometimes! Luckily we all adore her. It's fun watching her grow up, I get to see her every week. Now that she's in pre-school, she's got some new funny quirk or thing that she says or a song everytime we see her.
