Mmm, new pattern

Got my Folkwear pattern in the mail today, yay! It actually looks pretty easy to make.

#108 -the Turkish dancer one. We're gonna make our new troupe costumes from it. Maybe I should try a muslin version, I've never done that before. For some reason I prefer to use the nice fabric and end up with something that doesn't fit.

I really want to make up a duct tape double soon, that seems like it would be such a help for sewing.

it might be a really good idea to make a muslin mock-up first, especially if you're planning to use nice (expen$ive) fabrics to make your costumes. it's worth the little bit of extra time...
