had a fun weekend, Sat we went up to the city to do the Union Square xmas experience. I was looking for the really nice xmas crackers, but I could only find the Ok ones. Now of course I'm wishing I'd bought those, will have to check with mum later this week.
I got this cool lightbulb from Urban Outfitters, it has coloured LED's in it, and can fade from one colour to another, and so other effects like that.
I continued to look for a cruise and wedding outfit, but nothing jumped out. At Nordstroms they were having an event with a bunch of makeup artists, so I had a Stila lady do my face, that was fun. I got a lip gloss palette and some brushes.
Sat afternoon we went over to

resurgam's for cookies and Xmas cheer. Those were some mighty nice cookies! Gotta get the recipe for the macaroon type bars.
Sunday, I went to our local mall. The problem with looking for something, and not finding it is that I end up buying a bunch of other stuff. I got some jeans on sale. I went to Target and got some things, including a nice velour jacket, lightweight for when I don't want to take my leather jacket.
Sunday afternoon we went over to friend's for an early dinner. Some chilli and enhilladas. Chris made rotelle dip - the deluxe version with meat in it. I was tired tho, I was sitting in their rocker and what with their cats and my allergies, I practically rocked myself into a stupor!
I was so zoned when we got home that I missed the first half hour of Survivor, saw the rest tho. Out of the final three, definately glad Sandra won, she was pretty funny thru out the whole series.

thanks for coming over! you really liked the macaroons the best? i liked those the least because i had so much trouble getting 'em outta the pan. i'd cook 'em in foil or something next time. and use more chocolate.

by the way, do you remember seeing a monopoly board when we organized my room? that i was using for journals? i can't remember where we put it, and i'm making one for xtian's niece!
