Whoot, haircut!

Yay, I think I am all set with a 2:45pm appt. Cool.
What should I have done? I was thinking maybe shoulder length at the front, going shorter towards the back? Does that make sense (not a huge difference, just some) or would that look weird?
What kinda haircut would look good on me?
Should I get bangs again? It's been a couple of years since I've had them.
