More hat making

I just made one last night. I'd gone to Joanns last night, and picked up some things, and I got some more hat patterns.
They were kids ones, cause those ones are a lot more fun! When I got home, I was all stressed out cause it turned out to be sized pattern - Xs-M, not all sizes like I'd assumed.
Well, I made one hat last night in the M size, and of course it's huge, it was a little big on me even. And I have a huge noggin.
So, all was well. I think I need to buy some more fleece.
Do any of the stores up in the city have good colours/designs and prices? I could swing by there Sat arvo.

discount fabrics in the outter mission is my #2.

yeah, I think you're right. Do you remember the price at Discount fabrics? Was that better than Joanns?

grrr, i don't really recall. only thinking that it was all more expensive than i expected it to be. i want to say discount fabrics was less tho. the other thing i've noticed (in making baby clothes and baby hats) that often the pattern on the fleece is too large for a small area. you inevitably chop the head off a bear or something.

i've found a good fleece selection specifically at the jo-anne's in emeryville near ikea. i know that isnt close to you, but next time you head our that direction you should definitely check it out.

I need to talk to my sister. That's my mom's birthday weekend, and since my sister and I are bad daughters all the 364 other days of the year, I think we need to do something nice for her!

i have a bunch of fleece leftover from last year that I won't be using anytime soon. You can have it if you want. I have red leopard print, solid red and solid black.

you can have it all. I think there's about 1/3 to 1/2 yard and it's wide, like 58/60" width.
