"interesting" billboard

there's this billboard I see from the 80 in the city, it's for Israel, and it has this bevy of ladies walking along in some city (and as far as I can tell, a pretty generic looking city, albiet quite cosmopolitan and sunny I suppose) and the tag line says "Not like the Israel on television".

I dunno, it just doesn't sell me, it kinda weirds me out.

That's almost like the New Zealand slogans on Flight of the Conchords, 'New Zealand -Why Not?' and ‘New Zealand. Don't expect too much—you will love it’
