Los Angeles this weekend!

Woohoo, coming down to LA this weekend, without Mr jo! I like a good weekend away on my own every once in a while.
Am going to Cairo Carnivale, the big LA belly dance festival. It's a really fun one, my dance instructor is vending, so I can hang out at her booth too.

Staying with my old roomate in Pasadena, and we will go to the festival, then go get yummy middle eastern food Sat night. If we drink enough, we'll then try and find a karaoke place to have fun at.
If anyone wants to go and meet me there, or do anything else that weekend, lemme know. I'll be staying in Pasadena, and then the festival is in Glendale, so I'll be sticking up north :)

Was it Funkychicken7 or BloodRedRose that had some books that Applehangover was gonna take? I could potentially bring those back with me, if it doesn't turn into one of those logistical nightmare thingys.

i'm so tempted to invite myself along! i have off from work on friday for a jewish holiday. i guess it wouldn't fit in with my new approach to reducing my unnecessary expenses though, but it's a nice thought. : )
