Last weekend in June?

How's about the last weekend in June? Friday June 27th-Sunday June 29th.
Me and [livejournal.com profile] scarletwench mentioned it would work for us, and other people mentioned not August :)

Whatever weekend we pick, I will probably take that Friday off, and get there around noonish . Actually, I could be *easily* persuaded to even go up there on a Thursday, if some others want to make it a four day weekend. Thurs and Fri are my less busy days at work, and easier to miss.
Calling in for a Thursday would get us a better chance to reserve a big cabin too. (They have some cabins that sleep 20-ish)

Once Dad does the transfer, I'll try find out more info, like do we all have to arrive in one group (impossible!), if guests can ride the horses, paddleboat situation, if people can arrive late Fri night etc.

(If it looks like over 20 people (eep!) we'll need to do the group permission thing.)
If there are others that you think would enjoy going, and are not on LJ, let me know that too.

hi!

This should not deter you if that's the best time for everyone else, but June 27 is my boyfriend's 30th birthday, so I wouldn't be able to go. I am really flexible outside of that weekend.

If it works out that I can't go, I will definitely try to make it down to visit sometime before or after!!

I can go that weekend, but unfortunately I just CAN'T take any more time off. I suppose I could leave Fri after work or in the wee hours Sat. morning.

Just saw this -- if it's May through early July, I can go and would be happy to give rides down in my car. I can skip out on late Thursday/early Friday, especially since most Fridays I work alone in the haunted department!!

My coworkers have decided that he's probably a quiet older type who's happy just being by himself with a book (the ones that disappear seem to always be about local history). So I don't know if being around a bunch of rowdy crafty gals drinking PBR would be his style. Besides, I think [livejournal.com profile] queen_puff_puff is the one who'll be bringin' spirits ;).

My preference would be to do it in July (maybe the weekend after 4th of July) because I have tennis matches most weekends in June. But tennis season ends the last weekend in June and I seriously doubt my team wil make the playoffs.

woo-hoo! i'm good to go whenever, i think. i have off a the friday of the first weekend in june for a jewish holiday. and obviously i have off july 4th. beyond that, i don't think i could really take another day off from work, as much as i would _love_ to. yay!
