Sep. 10th, 2008 06:16 pmour scooter rall last weekend went fantastic!
Friday was the meet n greet, which Chris came into the city with me for. We just drove tho, and hung out for an hour or so.
Saturday, met up at my place with a scooter gal from Stockton (who stayed over with us) and we scooter over into the city for a fabulous b'fast (one of the scooter girls is a catering manager at a cafe), then we did a ride that finished at SF Scooter Centre. Bradford and the Corazzo crew had comedown to debut a new women's jacket, and they brought lots of sizes of other women's jackets, incl the sizes that I need so I was to get a) a women's not men's jacket that fits me well, and b) in a color that is not black, finally! (i got olive/army green).
Bradford was super nice -

Saturday afternoon, me, our rides and rally officer and two other gals planned and rode our Sunday ride. Then we had an evening ride that ended up at a bar that we booked out for the evening. We had pub trivia, and my team won! woo! Bragging rights. :) I and my houseguest left after that, as we were pooped.
Sunday, after a tasty b'fast out, headed back into the city for our day ride. On both this and yesterday's ride we had the guys from the SF Motorcycle club blocking, which was awesome. Cars tend to pay more attention to them, plus, they are super damn good at it! We ended up at the Dainese (gorgeous super pricey moto gear) store for a bbq, and our raffle. As I'm a loud mouth, I got conned into announcing the raffle, but it was fun!
All in all, great weekend, we had a great response from attendees that they enjoyed everything, and we're known for our great food and fun events.
