Aug. 14th, 2008 10:13 pmsc ooter rally last weekend was GREAT! I'm happy that I drove up, it was nice to have all my 'stuff' with me, and I was able to help out some friends wth having chairs, an extra tent and mat, and my cocktail hour was great fun. It was great to chill out for a few hours hanging out around the tailgate of Bruce sucking back some Coconut rum cocktails! My take on the italian bread/mozerella/basil/tomato went down well too - with mild cheese, mint and mango salsa!
The food at the rally was awesome! We had a whole pig on a spit, chicken, lots of other yummy stuff. We had hula dancers! Breakfast the next morning was a great morning after b'fast - deep fried sausages, eggs, french toast.
I also visited some art stores on the way up and back - Rileystreet in Santa Rosa and San Rafael. The San Rafael store has just been open a year, and their store is right downtown and is a beautiful space, very open and airy.
the company picnic is this Sat, and Chris will be going with me, yay! That's right, he's still not in China, wooo!
our bargain basement sale is going to be next Fri. That's where we sell off all the samples we are done with in the office. This is just to the employees of course! I can't wait! I'm hoping to get some watercolour stuff as my Aunt does watercolour and I could bring her some presents when we visit in oct.
