goings on

 this week has been pretty lazy so far, I have not accomplished a huge amount of things, but oh well, at least I don't feel as depressed this week as I have in the past. 

I had the phone interview with the hiring manager on Tuesday, it went OK, I spaced out a little on a question at one point. They'll let me know, and hopefully I will hear something soon. It was interesting tho, she mentioned things are really busy there, and looking online I saw that the company announced in Jan that they would be laying off 85 people Jan-Apr. So I can imagine things are pretty tense there...

Last night resurgam and I got to go out to dinner with suhl! We had yummy italian at restaurant near resurgam's that has free corkage Tues night. We then went to Fentons for desert, yum!

had a greatt weekend. Went to a nearby campground Fri night with friends. Was bummed that we couldn't camp out the whole weekend, but just too much goin' on! Glad we got to do one night tho! I even slept pretty well for camping out, uhhh, might have been all the wine and beer! ;)

Sat I scooted down to Campbell to go to Vespa Club Los Gatos Moto Classico Italia rally. Wasn't able to make any of the rides, but got to the day show. It was great to hang out with my scooter friends. There was a gmykhana, wheelchair race and slow race. I won the award for best art scooter, yay! The award was a beautiful glass vase with etched Hawaiian petroglyphs on it. I also won a raffle prize! Amongst other random things, it included a nice 3/4 helmet, which will be a good passenger in the city helmet. 

Sunday was Maker Faire, and of course we saw plenty of people we knew! Lucky Chris got to run into his manager, haha. It's definately getting a little corporate, and unfortunately our parking area for the art cars was kinda unorganised, but hey, worth the free ticket! We got there 1/2 hour early, and based on what others said it was a good thing we did. Apparently traffic got crazy. Chris and I mostly walked around and primarily observed, in the past we've interacted a little more. 

I have been checking a few things off my list, but I really need to get to the things I've been putting off - 
closing my wellsfargo account
listing some dance things on ebay - got some sold, thanks kazoogrrl!
putting my scooter up on craigslist
finding a place to get my truck aligned and two new front tyres (sigh, we've had a lot of car and bike expenses lately!)
planting the plants I bought over a  week ago!  woo!
