(no subject)

I worked on my artcar today, yay!!!! I went over to my ArtCar friend Avril's place over in Pacifica (where it was lovely, no fog) and we got about 3' done! So the passenger side is almost all done (bar the camper shell). I'm gonna go over next week as well. 

When I have a job again (I actually sent in a few resumes Wed, woo!) I want to save money for a new camper shell - one of these:

cool huh! It flips open into a tent, gives you 7' of headroom when you're standing in the truck bed, and then a mattress to sleep on in the flipped open part. 

Tomorrow I leave at 8am to head down to San Jose to meet up with a bunch of other scooterists and we're riding down to San Luis Obispo for the Rides of March rally. This will definately be my longest ride! Hope my tailbone will hold up, but I figure if it gets to bad, I'll just take a break, then head home. I did order and receive yesterday my gel butt pad for the seat. I will be bunking in with a couple of other gals in their hotel room (bringing my air mattress), They're supposed to put on a really nice ride, and the weather looks to be good! Hopefully I have everything I need packed, I'm really really really trying not to bring too much. 
Kinda nervous about such a long ride, especially with Chris out of the country. Took the bike in tues for an oil change, and got the weird noise figured out - clutch going bad. They said it should be ok for the ride, and I have the part on order and will take it in next to get that done (the part wouldn't have come in till next week anyway). Hopefully none of you will be getting a rescue me please? call this weekend, haha. 

Ugh, I have a feeling that I will not sleep well tonight. I was gonna have another scooterist from Napa meet up at my place and we'd ride down to San Jose, but he can't make it, so I can kinda leave on my schedule which will be easier.
