I'm a terrible wifey, I got back from my SoCal trip Thursday, then left Chris again on Sunday. I went out to Tahoe for a couple of days with Samantha, Andrew and the kids (and the aupair). Samantha and I hung out while everyone went to the slopes, ski school, or daycare, woo!
One afternoon we wanted to go sledding, so we drove out to Sierra at Tahoe which was supposed to have good tubing, but they ended up closing early when they got hit with a big group, we were a little grumpy, but checked out this other place near it, where you just pay $15 to park, then you can bring your own sled (or buy them there, which we did, all in all it was cheaper than what it would have been at the ski place) and it had a ton of sled runs in a hill, with little trail areas in between to get up to the top.
I only went down once, and it started fun...I hit a bump near the end, flew up in the air, then slammed down, and I think I have dislocated my tailbone :(
Hopefully it's just bruised. I've been looking at some info on the web (you know, the best place for sound medical advice, haha, but hey, it's a starting point at least) and all sorts of doom and gloom about chronic pain injuries ugh. I'm worried it is dislocated, cause it's been a week now, and it hasn't gotten any better, but we'll see. It's uncomfortable to lean back on it, and it really hurts to go from sitting to standing. Still along with some of the doom and gloom there's also some info on what to talk to your Doc about, treatment options, and some recommendations for people with experience with these injuries, so I'll have some leads if this doesn't get better.
so yeah, all just going back with needing to lose some friggen weight!!!
