I rode my scooter to work yesterday, then afterwards took the 880 up to downtown Oakland for SFSG social, which was a lot of fun!
Came back over the Bay Bridge, and down 101. As you go past the Stick, you always smell the garbage plant there, but then further down, I passed the It's It factory and DAMN it smellt good. They musta been baking the cookies, or dipping the ice cream sandwiches or something, it was the bomb.
I love the smells when you're scootering at night, even if there not so nice smells, it's always so distinctive, sometimes fleeting, always interesting.
