From an email a friend of mine sent me, I don't know if this is all 100% accurate (as I don't vote here, so don't have any experience in this), but sounds like some good info!

- The polls are open from 7am to 8pm.

- You can get election related questions answered by calling 1-866-OURVOTE. They will also assist you in locating your polling place, if you're still unsure. You can also try to find your polling place through http://www.mypollingsite.com/. In my state, my polling place is actually listed on my voter registration card.

- Don't forget to bring a photo identification (or other approved form of ID) with you to the polls. Even if you are not a new voter to your district, it is an important precaution to take.

- If a poll worker denies your eligibility to vote, ask for a provisional ballot. It is illegal to deny ANY VOTER the opportunity to cast a provisional ballot!! Also, Moveon.org put together a great wallet-sized card that has all the numbers and information you need if someone tries to stop you from exercising your right to vote. You can download it now at: http://cdn.moveonpac.org/content/pdfs/ep_card.pdf

- If you are standing in line to vote at 8pm when the polls close, you can still vote! Stay in line until you are given the opportunity to cast your ballot. If you are denied this right, call 1-866-OURVOTE and report the offense to the representative who takes your call.

- If you want to know who Planned Parenthood has endorsed, or you want to know your local candidates' views on a woman's right to choose, check out http://www.ppaction.org/ppvotes/main.html
