I've had this damn German song in my head all last night and this morning. I finally went and found some internet music to listen to.

My dad called me a while ago, he's checking on an employee order that got returned to Creative (they didn't put the Suite # on the shipping info). Of course Creative never bothers to tell him or me that the order wasn't delivered properly, butts.
He was telling me how he and Mum are having the downstairs of the house painted, and it's driving him crazy. I guess the painters are doing a bit of a crappy job, and Mum is all agro about that, which means she is harrassing Dad about it. Poor thing. He sounded really stressed out. I hope they have a great weekend when they come up, for ArtCarFest. Hopefully Mum will have enough energy for the day events. I don't think they'll go to the Sat evening party tho.

New jeans

I got a new pair of Jeans last night, well I did buy them at Wally world. Having one near work makes it rather convenient to buy from the Evil empire.
They are super comfy jeans tho, the Just My Size brand from Hanes, and they have a bit of stretch in them. And, they come in tall. Yay.
I can wear them to Art car fest and not be uncomfy sitting in the car.
I also got a shirt, the usual Boho crap I love, and it's a longer hip length, which I always like but have trouble finding.
I just went back to Wally world, I needed another plain folding chair and a small cooler for Art Car Fest. I also got a little umbrella for the chair. I want to make sure that my mum is comfy. A purple sunshade for the truck will not go amiss either.
[livejournal.com profile] applehangover, I can't believe I still haven't given your esky back to you. Sat would have been the perfect opportunity too. Will you be driving to [livejournal.com profile] resurgam's party? I can attempt to remember to bring it then?

I finished the roof of the cab tonight.
Thursday night I will glue the large piece of faux fur on the hood, and maybe start on the sides.
The big bits I have left to cover now are the hood and tailgate (all to be done in fur) and then the doors and front fenders.
Then have lots of fiddly bits like around the doors, and few little spots here and there.
After that, there is all the trim to put on. Around all the windows on the camper shell, and the bottom edge of the shell definately. Not sure where else, although I am definately seeing purple marabou trim on the door handles, and around the license plate.
