another day, another dance class

Troupe practice tonight. My troupe mate and I were remarking last night, that we'll be able to practice any cool new moves we learn at the Tuesday class, the next night. And can remind each other what the move was.
Going to the Tues class means missing my regular get-together with friends to watch Buffy. Which sucks, it's such a tear between the two. But still, I haven't done the Tues class in such a long time.
Hopefully tonight we will get some more done on the dance we are choreographing together. It looks really kick-arse so far. It amazes me how easy it can come together. We have a great piece of music by Natacha Atlas, which is really getting us in the groove. I really enjoy coming up with our new pieces, we all work so well together at it, and feed off each other's ideas. The first piece we all did together was really stunning, and has been well received. This one will be shorter and less dramatic, but it's quite fun and peppy, with some good 'tude. After this one we are going to work on our Mask dance, which we are going for uber drama and effect.
