See this movie

This came up in a post of [livejournal.com profile] elf_chick's, for those of you who haven't seen the 1983 movie, Pirates of Penzance:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086112/
you're missing out.

It has Linda Ronstadt, Rex Smith, Angela Lansbury, and as the Pirate King, a droolworthy Kevin Kline.

It's cheesy, in a good way. I mean, it's is Gilbert and Sullivan, so it's kinda destined to be corny. The singing is great to, partic Linda Ronstadt and KK.

Or both! Mwahaha.
You know, I have a lot of musicals on VHS and DVD that I could bring. I'm a huge Rodgers and Hammerstein and Gene Kelly fan.

I have that Rodgers and Hammerstein box set on DVD, so I'll bring that.
Yep, watch cheesy movies, hot tub, crochet, eat and drink beer, that's my plan for the weekend.
I'm aiming high!
