Rescue remedy question

For those of you who take Bach's Rescue Remedy, how often do you take it? Does just one dose a day do it, or should you be taking it every so often (and how often is that often?)

This is my PMS week, right after TG, and my coworker is out today and Thursday. I don't want another PMS meltdown like last month, which was baaaaad.

That stuff puts me to sleep after one dose. I tried giving it to my dog, but she's too smart for it now.
