Whoot, thanks suhl, I have my SS chica. You know reading everyone's wish lists, not just hers, is giving me lots of good ideas of what I could send her. I have a couple of ideas, will have to look at my supplies, and consider :)
I got mine too. How do we find the likes and dislikes if we don't know thae person(or even if we do) if it's not in their LJ journal? Am I just so LJ un-savvy or...? Any examples of what you did last year? Not trying to steal any thunder-just o' wonderin'!
Well, here's a link to my memories section, where I have been tagging the wishlists of everyone on my friend's list who's posted so far http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=joeychen&keyword=Wishlist&filter=all
Hopefully your person will post one soon. One thing you can do, is go to their userinfo section (here's mine for example http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=joeychen) and you can see their interests there.
Gosh, I can't even remember what I sent out last year, and to who! But I do know that I received from the lovely sarcasm_queen, and she sent me a lavender/purple themed collection of things. Some dried lavender, soap, some great earrings with shrinky-dinked bellydancers on them, some other earrins, and I forget what else. Don't spend a lot of money, we all seem to like handmade stuff the best anyway. I don't think most people would mind something that you had thrifted, like a book about something they're interested in, or cool picture or whatever. I plan to make the stuff I'll be sending to mine, and probably toss in a few fun things, little plastic toys, candies whatever. Hope this helps!
