Had a good Saturday, and am now enjoying the extra hour that daylight savings is giving me. With any luck I'll actually hop into the shower soon.
Today I plan to do a bunch of laundry, that's already going. I need to go out to Kmart or Target or something to get a grey sweatsuit for a Halloween costume, then I can also go to the nearby Joann's fabric for grey fur or felt for the costume.
Yes, that's right, I'm dressing up as a Koala. Haha. I've done this costume before, very easy, can't beet wearing sweats all day!
So, Saturday. In the morning, we spent a lot of money. Yikes. We bought a new sofa. In the Metro magazine, they had a write up of this place - The Sofa Outlet. It's just nearby in San Mateo (I have driven past many times actually) they do knockoff designs of other people (Pottery Barn etc) and you can choose the fabric, how firm you want the seat, how many cushions you want etc. We saw a sofa we liked, but we wanted a sectional, they're like, no problem, they can do it as a sectional. Cool! It should be tall enough for us, it's nice and deep, we got firm cushions, and one bench cushions for the seat (no more gaps, yay!). We chose a textured blue fabric. I'm so ready to get rid of the green one!
Then in the afternoon, we went to the soccer match. Tailgated for a couple of hours then hooted and hollered at the game. We are both pretty pooped today. It wasn't as hot as I'd feared it would be, so that was good.
