Mmm, Thursday

Thursday, mmmm.
Survivor tonight, and CSI and ER.
I had visions the other day of getting some pizza for tea tonight, but we had it last night at our group dinner, so I think the leftover pumpkin soup will be good instead.
I shall sit at my crafting empire tonight, and attempt to finish the following:
*Finally hem the bottom of the dance cloak/coverup I made like 3 years ago
*Repair dance hat, one of my jewelry bits came off, and I need to handsew it back on
*Make my "Thank You" sign for my truck
(I drove my art truck around all day Saturday, and a bunch of people honked and thumb-upped me, and it made me think it would be cool to have a little Thank you sign to flash at them)
*I may sew a hat or two, but don't know if I'll have time after the above. I got some fun new fleece last weekend. A rainbow tie-dye, and a bluey-purple swirly one

would you have a hand-flashable sign, or try to rig something up on the truck itself?

I've been casually thinking for years about how to rig a sign that reads "the left lane is for PASSING" on it, but haven't been able to commit to anything.

Just a hand flashable sign, making it out of one of those paper advertising fans they often hand out at festivals (mine is from Legally Blonde 2, woohoo!)
I just covered it with some purple wrapping paper, then putting on coloured squares, on which I have written the letters in black pen. Think I will cover it all with packing tape to make it nice and durable. Then I'll just keep it on the dashboard.
Once I replace my CB radio, I do have the PA speaker set up so that I can shout rude things at crappy drivers tho :) Although this is unlikely that I would do that, as I'm a bit of a wuss.
