Just so y'all are pronouncing it correctly in your heads (like you care, ha ha)
joeychen - meaning 'Little Joey' in German. A nickname I had in German class in college with my friends.
So it's not Joey Chen (like an Asian name/pronounciation a hard tch sound), it's joeychen, like 'shen' at the end, a 'shhhh' sound.

it always made me think "joey-chan," which is a Japanese thing ("chan" being an endearment thing tacked onto the end of girls' or kids' names to essentailly mean "cute little joey" or whatever the name is. Like my cat Chloe becomes "Chloe-chan".)

I wish my high school had offered German. I took French again in high school since I knew it'd be easier for me.

I was wondering about the chen thing. I though it was the German endearment, but was to shy to ask.
