White Elephants & Camping

Excellent weekend, thank you fellow bitches, you're the best!
Although, the familiar refrain did come up several times - "ohhh, I think I ate too much..."
White elephant sale scores:
*3 bag handles
*a book on macrame
*some little braiding craft kit
*some Cranes paper and 2 envelopes, in a nice clear plastic container
*a pair of sunnies - which I have realised too late are crap and scratched. Oh well.

I have something new to organise/plan, yay! - A California Glitter camping trip (all Glitterati welcome of course, -->Karen!) that would be in between SF and LA.
I think early summer might be good, so we can get a reservation (or alternatively late summer)
Anyone have any campground suggestions?
I looked at a few websites for houses for rent in Morro Bay, and SLO, but they seemed kinda expensive. None of the caravan parks in SLO had rental caravans either.
Just bought a tent at Costco. It was on the weekly coupon special so was only $33. It looks really nice, is 9'x9' inside.

Mammoth is kinda do-able. (grrr, don't have my maps here) From SF we would need to either drive north of, or through Yosemite. Mr jo and I have driven north of, ending up in Bridgeport. I think it took a fair while - 6 hours? Then another hour to get to Mammoth. But there are lots of cool things to do there - Bodie, Mono Lake, etc
I need to check into this time share kind of thing my parents have, they can transfer it to me, but I think there's a limit on how many guests I can bring. It's in Sequioa National Forest, north of Kernville.
