I tell you what, scooting the bay bridge every day is sure improving my lane splitting abilities. Can't say I like doing it in the rain tho! Stll, the faster I go, the less wet I am. 

Alas, Costco is not carrying rain suits anymore, pout. There's a surplus store down near the Park St bridge to Alameda, so will check there for a large rain jacket and pants that will go over my clothes.

When we were up in San Francisco a couple of years ago we had to drive over the Bay Bridge a few times, and I was fairly certain I was going to DIE each time. I do not like bridges. So I'm totally impressed that you can drive that thing EVERY DAY.

yeah, and on a scooter too!
I got totally drenched this morning, and got to sit in wet jeans most of the morning, mmmmm.
I went after work and got a rain suit tho, yay!
