Friday Five

This is a fun one, I'm enjoying hearing what you guys do and don't drive
1. What vehicle do you drive?
1996 Mazda B3000 pickup truck - which is a Ford Ranger clone, with extended cab
1996 Honda Helix 250cc scooter
(I also drive Mr jo's 1996 Nissan Sentra, that's our main everyday car)

2. How long have you had it?
Since 1996, my first new car (two previous were used)

3. What is the coolest feature on your vehicle?
Uh, hello...

Pretty much everything is cool on my truck

4. What is the most annoying thing about your vehicle?
I can tell she's getting older, she doesn't accelerate like she used to, but that's pretty minor.

5. If money were no object, what vehicle would you be driving right now?
Honestly, probably the same one. I'm very much into cars as transportation and not what doodads, altho I like a doodad as much as the next it's not essential.
I guess a zippy wagon type would be nice.

weekend plans

Ah Friday, it's been a tough week. My coworker was on vacation this week, so I've been really busy with all the little endless problems that keep popping up around here, specially with it being quarter end around here today. Our usual mode of work is that she deals with the problems, and I do the regular everyday stuff, it works out well.
After all the work on the truck, and the blur that was Art Car Fest, I'm looking forward to some more quiet weekends. Also will be able to start work on sewing for the Holiday Home show, making some extra cash with that would be great!
Tonight, I'm hunting for Pimms, I'm gonna try Beverages and More, and Whole Foods.
Sat, I think Mr jo and I might do a day trip up to the Sebastopol area, and go to the flea market up there. The cooler weather is just lovely right now.
Sat night, going to Mary Lynn's housewarming partay.
Sun, I think we're gonna have some of Mr jo's friend's over for dinner, with their cute baby girl. I'm gonna try out this Morroccan chicken soup recipe that looks yum, and then just have salad and cheese and scones (you people call them biscuits ;) ), kind of a supper dinner.

Infected nose piercing

As I suspected my nose piercing has a wee infection. I shall be doing some sea salt and hydrogen peroxide mixed with hot water to make a hot compress.
Although I can't say I'm thrilled about putting salt up my nose. Still, it's just on the inside not on the outside. Hopefully will go down in a week, then I get the jewelry adjusted.
I'm hoping it's just some kind of cycstic blockup infection that the soaks will help.
