no time!

I have things to say, work is just to darn busy and sucky right now, Blech. I am definately leaving at 4:50 tho, I gotta facial at 6pm that I am really looking forward to

Ok a little more time now that my sales guy has gone out for a meeting with one of our accounts. I feel bad, he's a super great guy, really nice, but I'm in a foul mood and he's bearing the brunt of it.
I just feel really wiped. I'm mostly over my cold, just a bit sniffly now. I just can't seem to catch up on my sleep, I had two bad nights of sleep Sunday and Monday, and I'm still running short since then.
Work was crazy today. A customer insisting we get a shipment ready for them today, I started work on it this morning, but pooped out early but was able to pass it on to order entry and the sales manager to keep pushing on it. I hate having to call people (who are never there so I have to leave VM anyway and then they never call back) and pass on bad information, and try and make people do extra work etc.
Still, I am leaving at 4:50pm today no matter what, I have a facial at 6pm and am looking forward to that downtime, then have the Amazing Race finale to watch at 8pm. Hopefully I will work on my crochet hat while I watch it. It's out of purple fun fur. If it works out I'm gonna give it to my friend B who's doing chemo right now.

I'll definately have to plan an art car making party. I'll be with the in laws all this coming weekend, then I only have 3 more weekends to do it. I can't believe I haven't even started yet. If I can just start, I'm very hopeful it will go fairly well, it's the starting I always have probs with.

Good news for Mum

Mum had her appt with her Houston doc on Monday, where he read her scans. No current evidence of disease, yay! Of course the crap thing about kidney cancer is that you never seem to be able to really get rid of it, so she's staying on the Thalidomide for now. And it will come back again at some point, but for right now, this is great and we'll take it.
