SnB last night was good, apart from there being a bunch of people there to watch the NCAA finals. We had a sweet older guy come up to us as he was leaving and commend us for our craftiness which was nice :)

I stopped by target on the way and had a very quick browse, got some boy cut knickers, woohoo!
I also looked again at these bizarre 'socks' that I hadn't been able to figure out. They are just tubes, about 3" wide. My coworker today said they they are for putting just around the ball of your foot, for when you wear those slide shoes. Ahhh.

I went to the fancy mall today for a long lunch. Had a fish burrito at a Rubio's, it was gross. I ended up just picking the fish out of it.
I got some black Dansko sandals for summer. I think they will be really good, but they are currently rubbing quite a bit, and I have bandaids all over my feet! Hope to have them worn in in time for Vegas trip.

Also got a pair of cropped pants at Torrid, that have ties at the bottom. (I'd link a pic, but it doesn't seem to be on their site)
I tried on a cute halter dress, but I felt too booby for it. It was black, with white embroidery, and i don't think the black did anything for me.
I think I shall continue to look for a fun dress that I could wear in Vegas though. I also have some sewing I want to do. A skirt or pants out of my fave stretchy fabric.

I don't know why that cracks me up, but it does. Perhaps because I never have that problem. I have the opposite effect going on- not booby enough for lots of clothes.

I sure want to go to Vegas. I need the break, I tell ya!

I would send you my 15% discount card from Torrid but I think it's only good at the store in AZ, because the manager signed it and all. Did you see the dress that was black with a cream colored ribbon around the waist/bust? That's the one I tried on, but it was way too long, it came down like halfway down my calves and I hate long dresses. I'm too short for torrid. Boo.

I have been looking at the hot topic and torrid websites and can't wait to go there! There is some Brian Froud stuff that is really cute, the red fairy of his looks like my friend's tattoo. It does seem a tad expensive though. especially when I convert it into AUD... I think i'll be checking out the clearance section!
