Weird TV
Watching ER last night was a bit weird.
One of the sick people was a pregnant lady, who they discovered had kidney cancer (what my mum has, although on TV it was sarcomatoid type, and mum's is the more common clear cell type).
The Dr's on the show were right in saying that it's very aggressive, very low chance of survival, but they said treatment would be radiation and chemo. Chemo is mostly useless for kidney cancer, so that was kinda interesting.
Then there was a smaller bit about a young woman with Down's syndrome, who came in with VD, which reminded me about![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
applehangover's work. It was sad to see the character reply "What's a condom"
